Three People, One Ledger

Small on purpose. Every session is run by someone whose name is on this page, and the person who measured your bag is the person who signs off on the build.

Ruthann Pike

Ruthann opened the original repair counter in 2009 after eleven years assembling and repairing clubs for two Arkansas pro shops. She is the one who started keeping measured specifications in a filing box, which is where the whole ledger idea came from, and she still runs the majority of full bag sessions herself.

Her particular interest is the top of the bag, where she argues most golfers carry two clubs doing one job. If you book a driver or fairway session on a weekday morning, you are almost certainly working with Ruthann.

Build Room Manager

Devon Straughn

Devon came out of a machine shop background rather than a golf one, which shows in how the build room is organised and in how fussy he is about tolerances. He runs assembly, bending, frequency checking and the final verification pass that every club goes through before it is handed over.

He also handles the unglamorous work that keeps a fitting room honest: recalibrating the loft and lie machine, checking monitor placement, and re-measuring the fitting cart heads on a rotation so the numbers we quote from the rack are real.

Marisol Quintero

Marisol built the template that our ledgers print from and maintains the session archive, so when a customer comes back after three years we can pull their old page and compare it directly. She also runs wedge and putter sessions, which she took over in 2021 and has reshaped around short-swing carry data.

She is the voice on the phone most of the week and the person who will tell you honestly whether the session you are asking to book is the one you actually need.

How We Split Sessions

Who You Get and Why

We do not rotate fitters at random. Session types are assigned to whoever spends the most time on that part of the bag, because familiarity with a category shows up in how quickly the right test pieces come off the rack.

If you have a preference, say so when you book and we will work around it. If your session runs long enough to cross categories, expect two of us in the bay at some point.
